The Doctor is In...

 James M. Wheeler MD, MPH, JD has practiced reproductive endocrinology- infertility (REI) and OB/GYN in Houston since 1988.  He is a graduate of Harvard College, Baylor's medical school and residency program, and Yale's REI fellowship.  Dr. Wheeler's patients benefit from the unique combination of his medical training at top institutions, combined with his additional training as an epidemiologist , statistician, and attorney.  His education and experience make him "The Thinking Woman's Gynecologist". Dr. Wheeler was on the faculty at Baylor for six years, and for the last 12 has been affiliated with The Woman's Hospital of Texas.

Our philosophy centers upon the tenet of providing the most thoughtful, comprehensive and up-to-date care possible for today's woman.  Specifically, we treat out patients' time and health as if it were our own, so we:

• Strive to be on time for every appointment.
• Do not double book appointment slots like many offices
• Make patient call-backs within 24 hrs
• Make clinical appointments with the doctor himself, not a practice extender, "nurse or P.A.".
• Provide choice  of exam visit, consultation visit, nurse education visit
• Offers referral for other specialist, or second opinions as requested
• Provide top Med Center-type care but without the hassles of parking in the Medical Center (Parking is Free)

• Provide ultrasound and blood-drawing facilities in our office.

• Provide a bilingual staff, whose average employment in the practice is 10 years.
